Certainly Poetry is a form of expression. Writing it lets us get out our feelings and thoughts from the mind on a subject while reading it encourages us to con-nect and find meaning in our experiences. It is learned that Poetry can have a positive impact on the social and emotional learning of children and the younger generation. It may offer them a new way of thinking about something. I wish all the best for the "SUNFO AGRAMUTHALI Thamizh Online Poetry Competition coincided with UN Day and Sustainable Development Goals 6th Anniversary-Global Week to #ACT4SDG's campaign organized by "SDGs Youth Council of Passara affiliated with SDG Youth Network of Sri Lanka and all partner organizations and youth teams associated with it. This is agood opportunity children and youth in Uva Province (Monaragala & Badulla Districts) in Sri Lanka, who are having abilities of creating poetry in Tamil lan-guage to get a special recognition in the SDG Anniversary and UN Day.

தமிழ் மொழி வளர்ச்சிக்கான முயற்சியில் ஈடுபட்டுக் கொண்டிருக்கும் பல்வேறு அமைப்புகளில் மலையகத்தில் இயங்கி வருகின்ற அகரமுதலி > முதலிடம் பெறுகின்றது. மலையகத்தை மையமாக கொண்டு அகரமுதலி முதன் முதலாக கவிதைப் போட்டியை நடாத்தி வருகின்றது. இவர்களின் இச் சிறு முயற்சி பலமடைய அனைவரும் தங்களின் பங்களிப்பினை வழங்குவதோடு மேலும் வளர்ச்சியடைய உதவுவோமாக. இது போன்ற இன்னும் பல முயற்சிகளை மேற்கோண்டு வளர வாழ்த்துகின்றோம்.
